xPyrus was developed by a few enthusiasts only and is now released as open source for a growing community. If you are are an expert in software development, web development and related technologies you could be a propulsive part of an interesting and future oriented project. If you're not that experienced but have basic understanding of web development—maybe from theory only—you should join our team. With us you have the opportunity to apply knowledge, to learn many details about code development within a quite large project.
For getting started you can find a mentor to support your learning process. The communication is managed by means of
- a mailing list: dev@lists.unihelp.de
- an IRC channel (#xpyrus on freenode.net)
- a bug tracker (http://bugs.unihelp.de/)
If you like you may read the latest discussion (German language) in our reference application UniHelp.
